Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North completed a commercial office fitout for Surfside Accounting, located in Coolum, a lively coastal town known for its mix of relaxed beach vibes and business activity. Surfside Accounting is an established firm specialising in a range of financial services, offering professional advice and support to local businesses and individuals.

The commercial fit out embraced a coastal style, reflecting the town’s laid-back yet professional atmosphere. The commercial design created a warm, welcoming environment for clients and a functional, efficient space for staff. Luke Ehrenberg, director at Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North says, “Simple yet effective finishes were chosen, ensuring the project remained cost-effective while still delivering a polished and professional look.”

The scope of the commercial office fitout included a reception and waiting area, an open-plan work area for general staff, and two client meeting/board rooms. Unique design features included custom LED signage and the strategic use of existing lighting to maximise natural light throughout the office.

The design was led by Luke and the commercial interior designers from the Sunshine Coast South team, with furniture supplied by JasonL, a trusted recommendation from Total Fitouts.

Luke continues, “One of the challenges faced during the project was coordinating the commercial fit out around the operating hours of an existing yoga studio in the same building. This required careful communication and scheduling to ensure minimal disruption.”

The entire project took about 8 weeks to complete, with 2-3 weeks dedicated to commercial design, 1 week for quoting, and 4 weeks for construction. There were some slight delays, but the team managed to deliver a high-quality commercial office fitout that met the client’s needs.
