Total Fitouts Christchurch Central successfully shopfit an empty tenancy into a vibrant and contemporary commercial medical fitout for Kowhai Vet Clinic. This innovative commercial fitout project aimed to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of pets, ranging from routine wellness checks to specialised medical care and surgical procedures.

The medical clinic fitout scope encompassed the creation of several key areas within the clinic, including a striking main reception area, multiple well-designed treatment rooms, and a spacious zone dedicated to housing treated pets and large-scale medical equipment. To achieve the desired atmosphere of the interior design incorporated a palette of white and light beige tones to impart a sense of neutrality, complemented by playful and colourful wallpaper accents, all of which contributed to crafting a warm and inviting commercial medical fitout. The entire design process of the commercial clinic fitout was expertly executed by our in-house team of designers.

The initial impression of the commercial medical fitout is a remarkable large timber wall adorned with custom signage and integrated plant boxes that introduce a touch of nature in front of the dark timber backdrop. Upon entering the clinic fitout, visitors are welcomed into an expansive space where the focal point is a reception area strategically positioned towards the centre back. This reception desk is adorned with large pendant lights, creating a visually captivating centrepiece. The desk itself features elegant white VJ panelling topped with a pristine white concrete slab, while custom timber bench seating, complemented by plush blue cushions, offers clients a comfortable seating arrangement.

In addition, sleek black shelving units are thoughtfully incorporated to showcase merchandise and clinic products, enhancing the client experience. The choice of timber flooring throughout the reception area not only adds warmth but also serves as a visual contrast to the predominantly white and neutral colour scheme. Furthermore, the strategic placement of plants throughout the room introduces greenery and a burst of colour, contributing to an inviting and lively ambience.

The treatment rooms within the commercial medical fitout boast distinctive bright-coloured wallpaper feature walls, injecting an element of fun and homeliness into the clinical environment. The largest treatment room has been specially equipped to accommodate high-quality medical equipment machines and counters, all elegantly accented with a dark speckled countertop. Circular wall lights are thoughtfully positioned throughout the fitout to add a touch of sophistication and create a pleasing ambience for both clients and staff.
