Marko and Nathan of Total Fitouts Canberra North have masterfully transformed an empty commercial space into the innovative and dynamic Canberra North Design Studio, situated in the heart of Braddon, Canberra.

The primary objective of this venture was to craft an inspiring and contemporary commercial office fitout that resonates with the Total Fitouts brand while adding a unique twist. The Design Studio serves as a hub of inspiration, designed to engage clients and invigorate the Total Fitouts Canberra North team, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity. Furthermore, the Design Studio stands as a visual representation of the Total Fitouts brand identity.

The scope of the project encompassed multiple facets of the office, including an inviting reception area, a communal seating space, several dedicated meeting and design rooms, as well as essential amenities and a convenient kitchenette. The Design Studio’s interior design harmoniously blends various wood tones, shades of grey, and pristine whites to establish a contemporary and inviting atmosphere. The entire design process was skillfully handled by the in-house team at Total Fitouts Canberra North.

The front section of the commercial office Design Studio fitout is marked by an eye-catching Total Fitouts LED lighting feature, accentuating the warm wooden VJ panelling behind the reception desk. A captivating stone feature wraps around the desk, illuminated by LED lights underneath, adding a touch of modern sophistication. The flooring comprises durable grey concrete, both practical and visually pleasing. The meeting and design rooms boast floor-to-ceiling glass partitions, with frosted glass and the Total Fitouts logo serving to provide privacy and enhance branding. In the shared seating area, a bespoke rounded wooden seating arrangement with blue pillows, complemented by white VJ panelling underneath, creates an inviting and branded space. A centrally positioned staircase, flanked by glass on either side and black hand rails, leads to a striking VJ panelling wall featuring the illuminated Total Fitouts logo, serving as an impressive focal point before entering adjacent meeting and design rooms.

Externally, the Design Studio is marked by elegant floor-to-ceiling glass adorned with contrasting black framing, exuding an air of sophistication and providing a preview of the interior environment. Prominent on-brand signage is seen on the front windows, ensuring easy recognition and accessibility for clients. Completing the space is a grand artificial plant feature wall situated behind the shared seating area, introducing a touch of greenery and juxtaposing the prevailing wooden and neutral tones throughout the fitout. LED strip lighting has been strategically integrated into specific areas, while hanging pendant lights are thoughtfully positioned throughout the entire commercial office fitout. This meticulous lighting arrangement serves to establish mood-enhancing illumination, effectively highlighting key features and enhancing the overall ambience of the impressive twist on the Total Fitouts brand.
