Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta undertook the transformation of an empty commercial tenancy into a tranquil and rejuvenating space for Perfect Potion. Perfect Potion is a store dedicated to harnessing the life-giving energy of nature, offering certified natural and organic aromatherapy and skincare products designed to elevate daily rituals.

The scope of the work for the commercial retail fitout included a main entrance area, the main retail space and a back-of-house area for staff and product storage. Perfect Potion’s interior design uses deep greens and wooden tones to create a calm yet warm and inviting space. The design for the commercial retail fitout was done by Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta in-house design team.

The primary objective of the design was to fashion an entrance that would beckon and seamlessly guide customers into the store. This endeavour was achieved through meticulous attention to detail. Custom signage was not only a functional element but a carefully thought-out piece of the store’s identity. It was strategically placed to enhance visibility and ensure that the store could be effortlessly located by anyone passing by. However, it was the use of floor-to-ceiling windows framed with refined black trimming that truly elevated the entrance’s aesthetics. These windows did more than just invite natural light; they lent an air of sophistication while optically expanding the perceived dimensions of the space. By doing so, they not only attracted potential customers but also enticed them into a more spacious and visually appealing environment.

The heart of Perfect Potion’s retail area was a canvas for creating an atmosphere of tranquillity, warmth, and allure. This vision was meticulously brought to life by Peter and the Total Fitouts Surry Hills & Parramatta team through careful craftsmanship and design choices. The bespoke joinery, adorned with a rich deep green hue, served as both functional product displays and a visual anchor, conveying a sense of organic elegance. At the centre of the store, a feature wall adorned with deep green square tiling added a captivating contrast to the overall design. This captivating aesthetic choice was extended to the floor, where the same feature tiles graced the ground, enhancing the store’s visual appeal. 

Adequate and strategically placed lighting fixtures played a pivotal role in creating an environment that was not just pleasing to the eye but practical for customers to explore the merchandise with ease. A sink with a sleek black tap was thoughtfully integrated, adding a touch of functionality and improving the overall shopping experience. In the midst of the retail space, a deep green bespoke table stood as an additional signage display area, harmonising effortlessly with wooden styling elements that further contributed to the store’s inviting atmosphere. The inclusion of plants and wooden styling pieces added the final layer of ambience, creating an environment that welcomed and calmed patrons as they explored Perfect Potion’s offerings.

While the primary focus was on creating an engaging retail space, the project also considered the back-of-house area, dedicated to staff and product storage. This section was not merely an afterthought but was optimised for efficiency and functionality to seamlessly support the store’s daily operations. Through careful planning and design, Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta ensured that this essential but less visible aspect of the store was integrated into the overall layout harmoniously.

The interior design concept centred around a palette of deep greens and wooden tones, purposefully selected to create an environment that emanated tranquillity and allure. This amalgamation of colours and textures fostered an atmosphere of calmness and warmth, consistent with Perfect Potion’s brand identity. Total Fitouts Surry Hills and Parramatta’s in-house design team executed this vision with precision, ensuring that every element not only adhered to the brand’s identity but also significantly enhanced the overall shopping experience. The final result was a store that embodied the essence of Perfect Potion’s offerings, both in terms of product and atmosphere.
