Total Fitouts Perth South, led by Stuart, undertook the exciting task of transforming Stephanie and David’s vision for House of Derma into a reality in the heart of Fremantle, WA. With a timeline of six weeks on-site and meticulously navigated through the intricacies of design certification and planning over a period of six weeks, the project took a total duration of three months. The result for the commercial wellness and beauty fitout—a sophisticated IV injectibles beauty clinic encompassing a full internal fit out, including partitions, walls, ceilings, decorative wall panelling, painting, and electrical work, spanning across a compact 70m2 space.
Stephanie and David envisioned a space that seamlessly blended elements of Persian-inspired interior design with French chic aesthetics, creating an ambience that exuded classic elegance and timeless appeal. The inspiration for incorporating dado rails panelling stemmed from the previous tenancy’s intricate skirting and the rich heritage of Fremantle, serving as the cornerstone for infusing the space with historical charm and character. The design for the space was done by commercial in-house designer at Total Fitouts Perth South, Leah Bennet. Explore further into Leah’s narrative within the realm of commercial interior design here.
Mindful of striking the perfect balance between warmth and sophistication, the design palette centred around warm white hues punctuated by pops of black accents throughout. To avoid a stark black-and-white aesthetic within the commercial wellness and beauty fitout, the team introduced French finishes, such as linen textures and aged bronze accents, alongside signature emerald teal green chairs in the consultancy room, drawing inspiration from the brand’s distinctive colour identity.

With an eye towards future expansion, careful consideration was given to incorporating joinery and built-in items that would accommodate the clinic’s growth trajectory while maintaining functionality and efficiency.
Custom-built chairs adorned the entryway, featuring a pristine white colour palette accentuated by subtle black piping—a design choice that sets the tone for the refined ambience within. The IV treatment area boasted classic-style bathroom hooks seamlessly integrated into the commercial interior design, marrying practicality with elegance.
Leveraging the tenancy’s high ceilings, Total Fitouts Perth South transformed them into a striking feature through meticulous panelling, further enhancing the space’s grandeur. A standout commercial interior design feature was the incorporation of a 45-degree angle wall with the iconic branding on the front, transforming a semi-awkward existing shape into an iconic entry zone that captivated visitors upon arrival.
Amidst challenges such as limited space and the constraints of working within an accommodation block, Total Fitouts Perth South shopfit experts adeptly maximised the space without compromising privacy or functionality. The result was a meticulously crafted environment that seamlessly merged sophistication with practicality, establishing House of Derma as a premier destination for IV beauty dermatology services.
The House of Derma commercial wellness and beauty fit out stands as a testament to Total Fitouts Perth South’s ability to navigate challenges, collaborate effectively with clients, and bring a beautiful, unique vision to life.
