Inspired by the colours of the peacock and a nod to the art deco period, Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North designed and built a standout new salon for Boujee Blow Bar. The brief was to split the tenancy in two with the back of the salon a dark and mysterious washbasin space and the front, light and sophisticated for the cutting and styling area. The back of the salon featuring plush peacock teals and greens and the front white and tan hues from the peahen.
4 stunning glass pendant lights up the centre of the tenancy and black flooring throughout unify the two individual spaces, with two gold geometric screens framing out each space whilst drawing the eye from the shop front straight to the back wall.
Reflections and patterns were paramount in the design, using the mirrors to reveal new forms, scales and proportions and lux wallpapers with unique shapes and contrasting colours that play with texture and light when you move throughout the space.
