Total Fitouts Illawarra recently completed a high-quality commercial office fitout for an accounting and financial advisory firm located in a commercial building in Wollongong. The client preferred to remain unnamed, and the company name not to be advertised.

Specialising in accounting and financial advisory services, the firm required a professional and efficient office space that reflected their business’s core values. The full scope of the commercial office fit out included the construction of two private offices, a boardroom, a smaller meeting room, a server/comms cupboard, open plan workstations, and a kitchenette/staffroom. The total area of the commercial fitout was 141 square meters, efficiently divided to cater to various business needs.

The commercial design style adopted neutral finishes, utilising a palette of black, white, grey, and timber to create a sophisticated and modern work environment. Unique design features of the commercial fitout included a curved dowel feature wall that added a distinct visual appeal and a contemporary touch.

Greg Doherty, Director at Total Fitouts Illawarra commented, “Fluted glass office partitions with four separate panels provided both privacy and an elegant aesthetic, allowing light to flow through while maintaining distinct work areas.”

The project was designed by Carley Austin from Emvy Designs, ensuring that every element was carefully considered to enhance functionality and style.

Greg continues, “Despite a few challenges, including the need to repair an existing air conditioning unit, the Christmas period, and trade unavailability, the project was completed smoothly.”

“These obstacles were managed effectively, allowing the commercial fit out to be completed within the planned timeline of four weeks.”
