Rather than treating them as individual spaces, the opportunity was to create one cohesive clinic designed around the client’s vision. Working closely with owner Chelsea Hyett from the early planning stages, Director Fred Pose and the team helped conceptualise how the combined tenancy could function, creating a layout that balanced operational efficiency with premium design.

From Empty Shell to Bespoke Cosmetic Clinic

With two vacant commercial shells as the starting point, every aspect of the clinic could be purpose-built around the needs of the business.

The brief was to create a recognisable, high-end clinic with a bold earthy aesthetic that could eventually become a repeatable brand concept. The space also needed to accommodate three treatment rooms, a welcoming reception, staff kitchenette and private client access while maintaining a seamless customer journey.

By collaborating closely during the concept phase, Total Fitouts Sydney Northern Beaches helped shape a layout that made the most of the available footprint while supporting both staff workflow and an elevated client experience.

A Sophisticated Design Inspired by Natural Materials

Rather than following the minimalist white interiors often associated with cosmetic clinics, SiSA Skincare embraces warmth, texture and architectural detail.

The design is brought to life through rich earthy tones, bold natural stone, bespoke joinery and layered finishes that create a calming yet luxurious atmosphere. Curves soften the interior, while carefully integrated lighting highlights key design features and enhances the overall ambience.

Every material was selected to contribute to a sophisticated environment without compromising the durability required for a busy commercial clinic. The result is a timeless interior that feels refined, welcoming and distinctly premium.

A Curved Ceiling That Guides the Client Journey

One of the standout features of the fitout is the striking curved ceiling that gently leads clients from reception into the treatment areas.

More than an architectural statement, this feature naturally guides movement through the clinic, creating a subtle transition between public and private spaces. The flowing curves introduce softness throughout the interior while helping clients feel relaxed as they move towards their appointments.

It is a simple yet highly effective design element that enhances both the functionality and identity of the space.

Bold Stone and Bespoke Joinery

Throughout the clinic, bold stone has been used as a defining design feature, introducing texture, colour and visual depth across the interior.

These natural finishes are complemented by custom-designed joinery that has been tailored specifically for the project. From the reception area through to treatment rooms, every joinery element has been designed to maximise functionality while reinforcing the premium aesthetic.

Integrated storage keeps operational areas organised and uncluttered, allowing the clinic to maintain its polished appearance throughout the day. The combination of bespoke joinery and carefully selected materials creates a cohesive environment that reflects the quality of the SiSA Skincare brand.

The completed clinic includes three private treatment rooms, providing flexibility for practitioners while ensuring client comfort and privacy. A spacious reception creates an inviting first impression, while a staff kitchenette supports day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

Private client access was also incorporated into the design, offering discretion and convenience for visitors. Every aspect of the layout was carefully considered to create efficient workflows without compromising the premium feel of the clinic.
